Overseas National Governing Body Growth
The Yachting Association of India (YAI) wanted to increase the amount of people involved in sailing in India, in order to create more competition within sailing racing. Over a 3-year period, Blueprint Watersports not only trained their newly appointed Training Manager, but also produced a full instructor training scheme with teaching materials and resources. This gave the YAI a new training department scheme and this foundation has now lead to the creation of over 20 civilian training centres around India.
The Hong Kong Sailing Federation wanted to outsource their Sailing Instructor and Race Coach training in order to create more consistency in training and delivery for the development of the sport in Hong Kong. Blueprint Watersports was instrumental in HKSF’s sail training from beginner to national race squads and with venue inspections to improve quality, culminating in an Instructor Trainer Course which in turn has helped to make HKSF self sufficient for the years to come.
